Featuring a genre spanning lineup of women in music and a mission built around creativity, action and community, Olivia Rodrigo’s inaugural Irvine festival debut is ready to bloom August 29.

Something new is taking root in Southern California. On August 29, Olivia Rodrigo will bring Daisy Chain Fields to Great Park in Irvine, California, for a one-day music festival built around women in music, creativity, community and action.
The lineup alone makes the inaugural festival hard to ignore. Bikini Kill, Chappell Roan, Die Spitz, Doechii, Eli, Garbage, KATSEYE, Mitski, Not For Radio, Olivia Rodrigo, Rachel Chinouriri, and others! The Breeders will take the stage, with Karen O, Sarah McLachlan and Stevie Nicks appearing as special guests. This lineup jumps across decades and genres without losing its center. Punk, pop, rock, indie and alternative all have a place here. Creating a bill that is intentionally eclectic.
Then there is the aesthetic. Daisy Chain Fields looks like it was pulled from the pages of a well-loved teenage scrapbook. Full pink backgrounds, hand-drawn flowers, colorful buttons, ladybugs, peace signs and imperfect little illustrations layered together. It is nostalgic without feeling stuck in the past. Its fresh. It’s new. It’s brilliant.
The festival's imagery carries the same DIY spirit as the music itself, making the whole thing feel less polished, less like a corporate festival. This festival is unique on it’s own. Like a beautiful something you might discover pinned to the wall of your favorite record shop. The daisy chain isn't just decoration.
The festival is putting its community mission directly into practice through the Daisy Chain Reaction Volunteer Drive, an effort designed to inspire 1,000 hours of volunteer work centered on joy, creativity and meaningful change. Through its nonprofit partnerships, the festival is also directing net proceeds to Olivia's Daisy Chain Fields Fund, which supports organizations advocating for women and girls. The initiative turns the festival's central idea, connection, into something tangible.
That mission continues once attendees enter the grounds. Alongside the performances will be immersive art installations, creative spaces and community experiences designed to inspire action, giving festival goers more to explore between sets than the usual food-and-merch pit stops.

The festival is also bringing together nonprofit organizations and women-led creative communities, making space for conversations and causes that extend beyond the music.
That's ultimately what makes Daisy Chain Fields so exciting as a first-year festival. It has the star power to make noise, but it is clearly trying to build something beyond a big concert with a lot of names on the poster. There is an emphasis on participation, creativity and connection. The idea that everyone in the crowd can add another link to the chain.
For one day, the park will become a field of flowers, guitars, glitter, noise and community. With a lineup this stacked and a mission this ambitious, Daisy Chain Fields is already shaping up to be one of the most intriguing new festival debuts of 2026.
