A collision of raw garage rock chaos and obsessive, almost scholarly love for rock history. A lot of Ty’s music sounds intentionally rough around the edges. A lot of fuzzy guitars, blown-out vocals, tape-like distortion. He pulls heavily from ‘60s garage rock and proto-punk, but instead of clean revivalism, he distorts it into a heavier form.
