On September 25th, Julia Wolf made a stop in Charlotte, North Carolina on her The Deep End World Tour. She played for a sold-out crowd here in the Queen City and the Queen City was very ecstatic to have her!
Bee Blackwell started the show at 8pm. She was welcomed to the stage with an uproar. Blackwell was an amazing choice as the opener for this tour. Her voice was hypnotising and her overall vibe was magnetic! The crowd fell in love with her very quickly! She played an 8 song set which included songs like “DUMB HORSE” and “YOUR SIGN” off her 2025 EP NEW FAMILIAR, “DUMB,” which released in 2023, and “BIG DOG,” which she released in August of this year. I look forward to diving more into her discography because she was so wonderful and I was obsessed with what I got to hear during her set!
Before Wolf’s set started, there was a giant leak from the AC unit at the venue, but that didn’t stop the fans’ excitement when the lights went down. This tour stop sold-out so quickly back in April that it was upgraded to the bigger venue next door! Fans were anxiously waiting to spend the night singing along with her! It was very thrilling to see fans decked out in their favorite Twilight merch to share their love for the franchise much like Wolf! Her fans were in for a treat because she played the entirety of her 2025 album, PRESSURE, which included songs like “Loser,” “Jennifer’s Body,” “Girls,” “Limewire,” and “Fingernails.” She made sure to end her set with her most popular song “In My Room.” Julia Wolf has one of the most unique and beautiful voices I have ever had the pleasure of hearing! You can tell how much she loves to play these songs, a huge smile was plastered on her face most of the show! I’m glad to have caught her on this tour and in this venue size because I doubt she’ll be playing in venues this small again!
Before Wolf was done with Charlotte, she made a surprise pit stop over to the Emo Nite party that was at the venue next door, so fans who weren’t able to get tickets still had the chance to see her!
Julia Wolf’s tour continues on with stops in cities like New York, Boston, Toronto, Denver, Portland, Seattle, Los Angeles, and more before heading across the pond in Nov for stops in Dublin, Leeds, Birmingham, Manchester, London, Cologne, Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels, and Berlin! Be sure to snag a ticket to one of her shows if you can! This is a show you don’t want to miss!

Plug In. Tune Out.
Blends ethereal, blunt indie-pop vocals with hip-hop 808s, trap drums, and heavier 2000s-style emo-rock guitar distortions. Explores anxieties, body comparison, suburban ennui, and longing with striking plainspoken honesty. Heavily inspired by 2000s cinema, horror motifs, and Twilight nostalgia.
