Ahead of its worldwide release on August 14 via Dead Oceans, Lost Weekend will premiere in planetariums across the globe through a partnership with Spotify. Rather than simply pressing play through a pair of headphones, fans will experience the album as an immersive audiovisual event. Surrounded by projected constellations and sweeping light displays. Depending on the venue, attendees will be treated to one of two original visual presentations: a custom dome film created by acclaimed night-sky photographer Babak Tafreshi or a fully immersive laser show designed by Laser Fantasy. Phoebe Bridgers will not be in attendance, but the focus remains exactly where it belongs—on the music.
